Traditional Use

- To support digestive comfort and regularity
- As a soothing gargle for the mouth and gums
- As an everyday herbal tea, often blended with raspberry and strawberry leaves
Harvest & Character
Harvested May to September in dry weather; because of the thorns, the healthy green leaves are picked by hand with gloves. Dark green on top and lighter underneath, with an astringent taste.
