Ulmus procera, commonly known as the English Elm or Common Elm, is a species of elm native to Europe and parts of western Asia. It belongs to the family Ulmaceae and is known for its tall, broad crown and distinctive serrated leaves. Elm bark can range from relatively smooth to deeply furrowed, depending on the species. Younger trees typically have smoother bark, while older trees may develop more pronounced ridges and furrows. The color of elm bark varies but is often grayish-brown or dark brown. Dried elm bark tea has a slightly sweet, mild, earthy flavor.

Usage: Boil 1 cup water. Place the 1-2 teaspoons dried elm bark in a teapot or heatproof container. Pour the boiling water over the barks. Cover the teapot or container and let the tea steep for about 10-15 minutes.
