ORIGIN OF BULGARIA
Botanical Name: Ginkgo Biloba
Other Names: Maidenhair Tree, Ginkgo, Bai Guo, Yin Xing
Ginkgo biloba is a unique species of tree, known for its fan-shaped leaves and long history in nature. It's often referred to as a "living fossil" because it has no close living relatives and has been around for about 270 million years. The leaves of Ginkgo biloba are distinctive, fan-shaped, and often have two lobes, hence the species name "biloba." In autumn, they turn a bright yellow before falling. Ginkgo biloba leaf tea has a mild, slightly bitter taste.
Usage: Use about 1-2 teaspoons of dried Ginkgo biloba leaves per cup of water. Heat water to just below boiling, around 85-90°C (185-194°F). Steep the leaves for 5-10 minutes, depending on your taste preference.
Traditional Use
