Tribulus Terrestris

Tribulus Herb / Tribulus Terrestris / Gokshura / Organic Dried Bulk Herb / Puncture Vine / Dried Tribulus Herba / Herbal Tea

Origin: Bulgaria
Botanical Name: Tribulus Terrestris
Other Names: Bindii, tribulus terrestris, puncture vine, caltrop, yellow vine, goathead, cat's head

Tribulus terrestris is an annual plant in the caltrop family (Zygophyllaceae) widely distributed around the world. It is adapted to thrive in dry climate locations in which few other plants can survive. It is native to warm temperate and tropical regions in southern Eurasia and Africa. Its name comes from the extreme sharp thorns that grows from the seed. The stems radiate from the crown to a diameter of about 10 cm (3.9 in) to over 1 m (3 ft 3 in), often branching. The leaves and shoots are eaten in East Asia. The stems and leaves of the plant have thin but clearly visible hairs.

Using: Boil 1 teaspoon of herb with 500 ml of water for 5 minutes.
